We promised a warm and friendly opening night… and we got so much more: a real celebration that lasted well into the night (1 a.m. for the last guests – no names mentioned!).
From 6 p.m. on, glasses were raised, laughter echoed, conversations filled every corner of the bar, and the scent of wine and beer gently wrapped around the inn. We hope you felt as good as we did. Thank you for bringing this evening to life – it was your presence that made it so special.
We were truly touched by your kind words, your support… and your gifts! A magnum of exceptional champagne, beautiful decorative objects that already feel at home, and even a copy of the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen, now proudly displayed behind the bar as a joyful statement of values. At Chaudeyrolles, we toast to liberty, equality… and conviviality.
A heartfelt thank-you as well to the Mayor and the municipal council for being with us and for their encouraging words. Your support gives us wings (and maybe a few feathers too).
For those who discovered it that evening, the food and wine menus are now displayed at the inn. We’ve officially announced our opening date: April 19th, giving us just enough time to put the finishing touches in place and get ready for the big day.
One thing’s for sure: the bar at Jean le Dindon has found its place. Around here, finding a beer at 6 p.m. used to be a challenge – we’re happy to say that’s no longer the case. This little mountain hideaway now has a counter where people can gather, chat, and share a dream or two.
Once again, a huge thank you to all of you for this beautiful evening – your smiles, your energy, your kind glances. The adventure is just beginning, and it already feels like a good one… thanks to you.
